Relocation

This blog has been relocated back to my normal blog -http://theblogoftheteenagenobody.blogspot.com/- I just don't have time to run two blogs and to worry about reviewing every book I read its just not possible right now. I'm trying to actually write a book, and I barley have time to post on one blog let alone 2 plus I haven't had a lot of time to read recently so I cant review things anyways. I will still review some books on my other blog, but I just don't want two blogs, right now, and I don't want to have to worry about doing a ton of book reviews, just the ones I feel like I actually have something to say about. I guess I just didn't really think this through when I started this blog, so I'm sorry. But please check out the other blog and I might have some reviews up there soon-ish. =)

A Few Quick Reviews And Recomendations

This is all books that I tried to do nice full length reviews of and failed. And so here are the crappy short versions that sadly still aren't as bad as the full length ones. Ok, this technically might be more of a recommendation type thing than reviews, but whatever. =)
Also if you want to have any idea of what I'm talking about check out the goodreads links next each review. =)

Reboot by Amy Tintera - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13517455-reboot -

Awesomely epic. Everything about this book is amazing, the plot, the world, the characters, just everything. You must READ IT, Do It, Right. Now. I'll wait.

The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16101128-the-5th-wave?ac=1

Again just plain awesome. One of the best alien apocalypse books I have ever read. Again READ IT, after Reboot but still READ IT.

Between The Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12283261-between-the-lines -

An awesome contemporary fantasy type book. I mean who hasn't dreamed that a book character was real before? Or wished a character was real? Or fallen in love with a character before? That is what this book is all about. I loved everything about it, especially Oliver. And I love how after a chapter from each of the main characters POV there's a small chapter that is from the actual book that Oliver is stuck in. Overall an awesome book with a really cool and interesting premise.

Recommendations!

  • Reboot By Amy Tintera
  • The 5th Wave By Rick Yancey
  • Between The Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer
  • Loki's Wolves by Kelley Armstrong and M.A. Marr
  • Cinder by Marissa Marr
  • Grimm Diaries Prequels by Cameron Jace
  • Snow White Sorrow by Cameron Jace

I should, hopefully, have a real full length review up soon and also I have a few other things planed that I shall be posting soon. =)

June Update

Ok, so there's not much to say, but I shall do a quick update, real quick like.

  • First, about the kinda not giveaway at the bottom of the Maximum Ride review, luckily no one entered because I didn't end up getting that tattoo that the hint was for, I still got one just a different one. I got the Mockingjay from The Hunger Games on my shoulder. I will do a post about getting a tattoo with pictures later today and post it on both blogs.
  • I'm thinking of probably definitely doing some more videos, like my Delirium Contest one but for other books and just for fun. So, when I do that I shall post them here.
  • I will try and post some more reviews and whatnot, but I think there might be more whatnot than reviews. I'm just bad at actually reviewing things, sorry.
I think that that's really all I have to say. But if you have any suggestions or ideas for reviews and/or other posts please comment below. =)
